Spiky Pochote Vase Made in Oaxaca

This small vase is handmade in Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca. We work with indigineious communities in Mexico. It is unglazed and therefore is not watertight. Liquid will seep out of the walls of the vase so we suggest having a plate underneath or using this for dried arrangements. There can be variations in the color of the clay depending on the temperature of the kiln during firing.
Size: vase is 7 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at its widest point.
These items can have unique markings that occur randomly in the firing process. These markings are not considered defects.
